these long hours

I spent a total of five hours yesterday studying accounting on campus (both solo and with a buddy) and trying to do all the homework assigned, and then another four hours when I got home from school studying for my other three classes.

So far today I’ve spent two hours on accounting and already my brain is fried, and two hours working for TM. I still have a ton to do for accounting in preparation for the midterm on Thursday, and for TM to compile all the data she needs by Friday. I made a big lunch that will double as dinner, I need to swing by the Campus Security Center to sort out my parking permit with them, and I think I sold the string-lights from the wedding, although it entails a drive to Vallejo tomorrow. Meh.

On top of aaaaallllll that, Calculus just started getting confusing, and I have a group paper due next week. I’m starting now to fully understand why people in the program keep looking at me funny when I say I have four classes and I’m working for one of the professors.

I’m convinced that my stressed feelings have more to do with time crunch issues than the actual work. Between trying to wrap up all of my post-wedding errands, getting sick, various social commitments and that pesky need for sleep, there just aren’t enough hours. But the cold is gone (icky cold sore remains), my weekends have freed up, and all of the big leftover wedding stuff is dying down. Fingers crossed I can get my sh*t together and sort out all of this mess.
