just another errand day
My first full day home from the honeymoon and I think I could use a drink! We’re down to one car because my car is visiting the mechanic. Ryan and I took bax on the long walk this morning at 7am. Then I dropped him off at work, drove up to Oakland to get Thien to sign the marriage license we forgot about last Saturday. Then to Asami’s office to get her signature as our other witness. Sped off to 70 W Hedding to drop off the fully completed form. Next stop SCU to pick up my “welcome binder” which was really just a folder of stuff I already had. Purchased parking permit for the year, yikes!
Finally a break around 12 for some lunch & regrouping. Loaded up the car for all of the returns and post office/UPS stops. 3.5 hours later back at the house. Time to start on the garage. Woohoo wedding present arrived! 20 minutes to sift through C&Bs elaborate packing system then back to the garage.
2 hours of cleaning, moving, organizing and then trying to jam the trash into the bins outside. Crap! Time to pick up Ryan.
We’re almost home now. I’ll make some dinner, start the laundry, and work on the xstitch. It’s been a v. productive day and I feel good.
