rebooting
this weekend I did almost absolutely nothing. I can’t even say that I drank away the 48 hours, because I didn’t really. I maybe drank a little too much on Friday night, but otherwise I think kept it together pretty well. I have been really wanting to finish my Spring x-stitch and have it framed and hung on the wall by the wedding so I can point to it as another accomplishment. All I have left is the outlining and miscellaneous spots I’ve skipped over. Now that I don’t have a lot of web stuff I need to do in the evenings, I’m hoping to get it wrapped up in the next 2 weeks or so.
Also this weekend, the paint and texture guys finished up the master bath. Hooray! When I came home on Thursday to see the lime green walls I had chosen I about had a fit. Then I noticed the texture on the walls, and the fact that the ceiling was also lime green…. not a happy camper. But all has been restored in whovile, and it looks like tomorrow the bathroom will be all but done. Just waiting for the glass door in the shower. CAN’T WAIT!
I’m on a bit of a purging streak. The consensus is that this is all related to my housing update obsession, trying to get things in order. I’m apparently pre-wedding nesting. The way I hear it,this is totally normal and just the same thing that most people do. Interesting. I have to tell you. It’s been a while since my closet was this in order, and I was keeping the kitchen this neat. I hope this lasts!
